1. What is MyBalanceScore?
Your BalanceScore is a formula that attempts to reflect of how well you are taking care of the most important aspects of your life. You will be tracking these 10 activities: Health, Fuel, Exercise, Earn, Learn, Clean, Create, Inspire, Quiet & Love.
2. How do I score points in this game?
You will first set one minimum goal for each activity. Feel free to add your own. Whenever you meet one of your daily goals, you earn 10 points for that activity. Whenever you do less, you earn less points. If you complete 90% of your daily goal in an activity you earn 9 points. Doing half of your goal earns 5 points, and doing nothing earns no points.
3. What is the maximum number of points I can earn a day?
100.
4. Can I change the name of an activity?
Yes. You can change the name of any Activity by pressing the “More” tab, and then “Activity”. Choose the Activity name you want to change.
5. Can I earn extra points?
Yes. Whenever you do twice the amount of your daily goal, you earn 20 points. Those extra points can be used to make up for any points lost in other activities, except for points lost in Fuel and Health.
6. What is the maximum number of points I can earn in an activity?
You can earn a maximum of 10 points a day in Fuel and Health. For every other activity the you can earn up to 20 points.
7. What is the WorldWide BalanceScore Challenge?
If you choose, you can enter the WorldWide BalanceScore Challenge. If you set your goals at or above the WBSC minimums, your BalanceScore is officially ranked against all other competitors at your level throughout the world.
These are the minimum daily goals of the WBSC:
- Health: Sleeping at least 6-8 hours a night;*
- Fuel: Eating 5 servings of fruits or vegetables a day;*
- Exercise: Exercising at least 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week; *
MIND
- Earn: You set your own income earning goals;
- Learn: Learning something new at least 10 minutes a day;
- Clean: Cleaning, Organizing, or Repairing at least 30 minutes a day;
SPIRIT
- Create: Making or playing something at least 20 minutes a day;
- Inspire: Reflecting upon something that Inspires you at least once a day
- Quiet: Enjoying Nature,Praying, Meditating, or Stretching at least 10 minutes a day;
- Love: Doing at least 1 nice thing for someone else each day;
7. How do I move up levels in the WBSC?
Whenever you maintain a BalanceScore of 80 or higher
8. How long does it take to score my day?
Less than a minute a day. You can use the quick scoring colored buttons and flip from one activity page to the next.
9. What happens if I forget to score my day?
If you don’t score your day, go to the Daily Report for that day and press “Edit” in the top right corner. This allows you to add/edit the last 7 days.
10. What is a Color Field?
When you tap the “Reports” tab you can see the last 30 days of scores by tapping “Color Field.” In your Color Field, a green circle signifies scores of 8 or higher. Yellow circles represent scores of 5,6, and 7, and wherever you see a red circle, your score was less than 5. As you see your Color Field turns green, you know that you are taking care of your whole self. Wherever you see yellow or red, you know what you have left to do. This is an easy way to quickly see how well you are really doing.
Yes. You can change the name of any Activity by pressing the “More” tab, and then “Activity”. Choose the Activity name you want to change.
